You've got some fascination
With your high expectations
This love is your obsession
Your heart, your past possession
Let down your defenses
Wont be up to the one who cares
Song of the Day: Ask the Lonely- Journey ♥
Current Mood: fairly chipper for some reason! :)
Day 03 → Something you have to forgive yourself for.
I don't really know how to answer this one. I've been trying to think of what my answer would be. There are quite a few things I have screwed up in my life, but I'm not one for holding grudges too long. I also truly believe that everything in life happens for a reason, and because of that believe I dont beat myself up over dumb stuff I do for too long. I have a hard time answering this also because I fight myself to not give into negative thought processes. I have a hard time being positive and being happy with my life, so it is a daily struggle for me to not give myself a hard time over many things that I do.
Attempting to answer this question, though, I suppose the answer would be spending too much money! I like to spend money when I shouldnt, on things that I don't need. I forget some times how our money situation is and get carried away just wanting random crap and then having buyer's remorse! It's something I must over come. Now, I don't always have buyer's remorse. When I buy scrapbook supplies? Oh, I'm elated at the possibilities. Books? Who can ever regret buying a book!!
I guess the buyer's remorse is usually on food. I hate buying food. Junk food, that is. Chips, or even eating out fast food. (Unless it is certain fast food places that I love, but we rarely go those places...) But I tend to find myself purchasing that mid-afternoon snack... adding those extra calories I dont need and subtracting those dollar bills that I do. It's very frustrating. Almost like an addiction. I'm fighting it right now. :)
What do you need to forgive yourself for?
If you are participating in the 30 Days of Truth, let me know. I'd love to come learn about you!
