Best TV Couples!

Taking some inspiration from one of my favorite bloggers, Krysten, over at After I Do, I decided to embrace the month of love and do a blog on my own favorite TV couples.

TOP Five Without a Doubt Faves....

TV Couple Number One:
Emma and Sean from Degrassi

I will never give up hope for these two. They are MFEO!! All kidding aside, i think they would have a great foundation for a mature relationship after everything they have been through together. Getting back together would be the hard part, learning to trust each other again.

Couple Number Two
Veronica and Logan from Veronica Mars

I love them. They are so passionate. They cant stay away from each other, whether they are hating each other or loving each other. I love their dynamic together, because they really "get" each other. I didnt like Duncan and V, because they just didnt mesh well. And I dont like Piz or Parker at all.

Logan: I thought our story was epic, you know? You and me.
Veronica: Epic how?
Logan: Spanning years, and continents. Lives ruined and blood shed. Epic.

TV Couple Number Three
Rory and Jess - Gilmore Girls

Logan was a spoiled jerk, and Dean didnt have enough of a backbone. He did whatever made someone else happy. Jess and Rory were perfect, they understood each other and they were "real" together. I thought they were going to make it happen in the final season, but alas it was not to be. Here's hoping for a movie with some reconciliation :)

Number Four
Cory and Topanga

who doesnt love cory and topanga? they have their whole relationship chronicled before our eyes! they were the perfect balance, and everything worked out, every time. How lovely. Too bad I was a kiddo when I watched this and had expectations of a C & T kinda love for my future. (P.S. - it's not real!)

Number Five
Nick and Hannah

High school sweethearts, still obviously in love with each other. Too bad Nick ran out of town and Hannah felt like she needed to move on and do what was best for her and her son.
The show was short lived, but I still consider it one of the best shows I've watched! I recently discovered that there is a short finale on the season 2 disc that wraps everything up. I didnt know this, and now I must go purchase the first AND second seasons to refresh my memory on the story and find out (hopefully!) who Sam's father is. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's Nick. *If you know, dont tell me!!!

Great Couples or Should-Be Couples, But Not My Top Five

Number Six
Mary and Marshall from In Plain Sight

We all know Marshall loves Mary. We all also know that if Mary would open her eyes just a bit, and slow the heck down, that she would realize she loves him too. But of course, that is what makes the show intriguing, and that realization would probably change the awesome dynamic of their relationship, so I'm good with the way it is... For Now.

Number Seven
Elle and Sylar from Heroes

Villans in love are hott. And I dont think it's any coincidence that Kristen Bell makes it into two of my favorite couples. Regardless, I wish they had made this last a little longer before Sylar went back in to killer mode.

Number Eight
Jim and Pam from the Office

love this office romance. i loved how it built up, i loved their obstacles, and i loved how intense and REAL it was when they finally kissed. It's like Cory and Topanga, all grown up. With a baby.

Number Nine
Buffy and Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Most people might say Angel. But not me. You might notice, I like the bad boys with a splash of good in them. I'm just gonna say that Buffy really did love Spike. Not in the same way as she loved Angel, because OBVIOUSLY they were totally different, but I think what they had was real, and Spike loved her even when he didn't have a soul. Love isn't one sided, therefore to believe that Spike really loved Buffy - which is completely unquestionable in my mind, it can be assumed that Buffy loved Spike in return.

Number Ten
Luke and LoreLai from Gilmore Girls

I was really rooting for this relationship the whole time. From the moment I met Luke, I knew he should be with Lorelai, and they would be great together. And they were! I loved it. There was a bit more drama involved than for my taste, but they worked through it in a somewhat adult-like manner and I choose to believe it worked out for the best in the end.

The Runner-Ups

Number Eleven
Tony and Zivi or Gibbs and Jen from NCIS

Number Twelve
Max and Liz, Michael and Maria, Alex and Isabel from Roswell

Joey and Pacey from Dawson's Creek

Number Fourteen
Michael and Fiona from Burn Notice

Number Fifteen
Cappie and Casey from Greek and Lexi and Mark

What do you think? Who are you favorite TV couples? Any that you would add?

  1. I definitely LOVE Pacey and Joey. I don't watch a lot of these shows, but I would add Monica and Chandler plus Rachel and Ross(FRIENDS) & Chuck and Blair (Gossip Girl)
